The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
