Hizb 38

Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
