Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
