The dwellers of the forest also rejected the messengers. 176 Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God? 177 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 178 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 179 I do not ask any payment for my preaching. I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ "Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). 181 and [in all your dealings] weigh with a true balance, 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 They said, "You are only of those affected by magic. 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful." 187 He said: "My Lord knows best what ye do." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Verily in that is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
