And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 The honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down 193 Upon your heart, for you to convey warning. 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 And indeed it is mentioned in the earlier Books. 196 Was it not a proof for them that the learned men of Israel knew about this? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 and had he recited it unto them [in his own tongue,] they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 Then they will say: "Can we be respited?" 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 But hast thou ever considered [this]: If We do allow them to enjoy [this life] for some years, 205 and then the chastisement of which they were being warned were to come upon them, 206 What shall that which they enjoyed avail them? 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 Not by the Satans has it been brought down; 210 They are unworthy of it, nor can they do it. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 (Muhammad), do not worship anything besides God lest you suffer the punishment. 213 Warn your tribe and your near kinsmen. 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 And thy movements among those who fall prostrate. 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, the erring follow them. 224 Have you not seen how they wander in every valley, 225 preaching what they do not practice. 226 Save those who believed and worked righteous works and remembered Allah much, and vindicated themselves after they had been wronged. And anon those who do wrong shall come to know with what a translating they shall be translated. 227
