Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 to your heart that you might become one of those who warn (others on behalf of Allah), 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 And he had read it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 who will not believe in it, until they see the painful chastisement 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 and then what they were promised comes to them, 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 And We destroyed not a city but it had its warners. 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 And [this divine writ is such a reminder:] no evil spirits have brought it down: 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 So call thou not upon another god with God, lest thou shouldst be one of those that are chastised. 213 And warn your near relations, 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 who sees thee when thou standest [alone,] 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing! 220 O people, shall I tell you on whom it is that satans descend? 221 They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person. 222 The satans try to listen to the heavens but many of them are liars. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 Do you not see that in every valley they roam 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
