This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down 193 to your heart, so that you will warn (the people of the dangers of disobeying God). 194 in clear Arabic speech. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 In this wise have We made way for it into the hearts of the culprits. 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? 207 We never destroyed a village that did not have warners 208 For reminder, for We never were oppressors. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 Who watches you when you get up, 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 Surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, only the wayward follow them. 224 Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- 225 and that they [so often] say what they do not do [or feel]? 226 [Most of them are of this kind] save those who have attained to faith, and do righteous deeds, and remember God unceasingly, and defend themselves [only] after having been wronged, and [trust in God's promise that] those who are bent on wrongdoing will in time come to know how evil a turn their destinies are bound to take! 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
