And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 192 The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down 193 into your heart, so that you may be a warner, 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 So that he should have recited it to them, they would not have believed therein. 199 Even so, We have caused it to enter into the hearts of harmdoers: 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 It will come upon them unawares, and they will not comprehend it. 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 204 But hast thou ever considered [this]: If We do allow them to enjoy [this life] for some years, 205 and then the promised punishment fell upon them, 206 What shall that which they enjoyed avail them? 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 for a reminder, and We never harmed. 209 And the Shaitans have not come down with it. 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. 212 So call not upon another god with Allah, lest you be of those who are punished. 213 Warn your tribe and your near kinsmen. 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 who sees you when you stand up [for prayer], 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person. 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 and that they [so often] say what they do not do [or feel]? 226 Except those who believe and do the right, and remember God a great deal, who retaliate only when they have been wronged. Yet the oppressors will now come to know through what reversals they will be overthrown! 227
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
