The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
