And those who disbelieve say: What! when we have become dust and our fathers (too), shall we certainly be brought forth? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say to them (O Muhammad SAW) "Travel in the land and see how has been the end of the criminals (those who denied Allah's Messengers and disobeyed Allah)." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
