Al-Ankaboot 2 of 7

And indeed, [in times long past] We sent forth Noah unto his people, and he dwelt among them a thousand years bar fifty; and then the floods overwhelmed them while they were still lost in evildoing: 14 Then We rescued Noah together with the people in the Ark and made it (that is, the Ark) a lesson for all people. 15 And [We sent] Abraham, when he said to his people, "Worship Allah and fear Him. That is best for you, if you should know. 16 You only worship, besides Allah, idols, and you produce a falsehood. Indeed, those you worship besides Allah do not possess for you [the power of] provision. So seek from Allah provision and worship Him and be grateful to Him. To Him you will be returned." 17 But if ye deny, then nations have denied before you. The messenger is only to convey (the message) plainly. 18 See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it. Verily, that is easy for Allah. 19 Say thou: go about in the land and behold what wise He hath originated creation; and then Allah shall produce another production; verily Allah is over everything Potent. 20 He punishes whom He will and shows mercy to whom He pleases. And to Him you shall be returned. 21 Escape Him you cannot either in the earth or in the sky; and you have no friend or helper apart from God. 22
