The life of this world is nothing but sport and a diversion. It is the life of the Hereafter which is the only true life, if they but knew it. 64 When they board a vessel, they call on God, sincere in their faith for Him alone; but when He brings them safe to land, they begin to ascribe partners to Him. 65 So that they become ingrate for that which We have vouchsafed unto them, and that they enjoy themselves; but presently they shall know. 66 Have they not seen that We have made (Makkah) a sanctuary secure, and that men are being snatched away from all around them? Then do they believe in Batil (falsehood - polytheism, idols and all deities other than Allah), and deny (become ingrate for) the Graces of Allah? 67 And who is more unjust than one who fabricates lies against Allah, or denies the truth* when it comes to him? Is there not a place in hell for disbelievers? (* The Holy Prophet and / or the Holy Qur’an). 68 And those who strove in Our way – We shall surely show them Our paths; and indeed Allah is with the virtuous. 69
