۞ O men! It is you, who stand in need of God, whereas He alone is self-sufficient, the One to whom all praise is due. 15 He could take you away if He pleased and bring a new creation (in your place). 16 And that is not hard for Allah. 17 Nor can a bearer of burdens bear another's burdens if one heavily laden should call another to (bear) his load. Not the least portion of it can be carried (by the other). Even though he be nearly related. Thou canst but admonish such as fear their Lord unseen and establish regular Prayer. And whoever purifies himself does so for the benefit of his own soul; and the destination (of all) is to Allah. 18 The blind man is not equal with the seer; 19 Nor is darkness (tantamount to) light; 20 Nor are (alike) the shade and the sun's heat. 21 nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whosoever He will, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear. 22 Thou art but a warner. 23 Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation but a warner had passed among them. 24 And if these disbelievers deny you, those before them had also denied; their Noble Messengers came to them with clear proofs and scriptures and the bright Book. 25 but in the end I seized those who were bent on denying the truth and how terrible was My punishment. 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
