Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya Sin. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 pursuing a straight way 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
