The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 surely, your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 Protecting them against every wayward devil, 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital. 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21
