The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence! 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 And also our forefathers? 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
