1/2 Hizb 45
< random >
۞ Gather together those who did wrong and their comrades and that which they were wont to worship 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 indeed, on that Day they will surrender themselves. 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 Those say, 'No; on the contrary, you were not believers; 29 Moreover, we had no power at all over you: nay, you were people filled with overweening arrogance! 30 "So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins). 31 We led you astray as we were ourselves astray." 32 And verily, on that Day they all will share in their common suffering. 33 Thus do We treat the culprits. 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, 38 And ye shall be required not except for that which ye have been doing; 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 For them there is a known provision, 41 and fruits while they are honored. 42 In gardens of delight, 43 On thrones, facing each other. 44 A drink will be passed round among them from a flowing spring: 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances 48 As if they were eggs carefully protected. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 One of them will start the talk and say: "I had an intimate companion (on the earth), 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then be certainly brought to judgment? 53 He says, 'Are you looking down?' 54 He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me. 56 Had I not the guidance of my Lord, I would certainly have been brought into torment". 57 What then, shall we not die 58 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? 59 Surely this is the supreme triumph. 60 It is for the like of this that all should strive. 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 Surely We have made it to be a trial to the unjust. 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 its spathes are like the heads of satans 65 and they [who are lost in evil] are indeed bound to eat thereof, and to fill their bellies therewith. 66 And thereafter verily they shall have thereon a draught of boiling water. 67 then surely they shall return to Hell. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 and they are running in their footsteps. 70 yet before them most of the ancients went astray, 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 74
