3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 He looked up at the stars. 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 But they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he slipped unto their gods and said: eat ye not? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 "Why do you worship these you carve yourselves," he asked, 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); 103 We cried out: “O Abraham, 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and perpetuated his praise in later generations. 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Thus do We reward the good. 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
