And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
