And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
