And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
