And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night.
