Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
