And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
