We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
