Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
