And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
