Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
