We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
