We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
