And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We bestowed his household to him and one more similar to it – as a mercy from Us, and as a remembrance for the people of intellect. 43 [And finally We told him:] "Now take in thy hand a small bunch of grass, and strike therewith, and thou wilt not break thine oath!" for, verily, We found him full of patience in adversity: how excellent a servant [of Ours,] who, behold, would always turn unto Us! 44 And make mention of Our bondmen, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of parts and vision. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 And remember Isma'il and Al-Yas'a and Zul-kifl; all of the excellent ones. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ And with them will be virgins of refraining looks and of equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 This is Our provision for you, never to end. 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 All this (is for them); so let them taste boiling water and pus, 57 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 And will add: "O what has happened to us that we do not see the men we counted among the wicked. 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Verily this is the very truth: the wrangling of the fellows of the Fire! 64
