And make mention (O Muhammad) of Our bondman Job, when he cried unto his Lord (saying): Lo! the devil doth afflict me with distress and torment. 41 'Stamp thy foot! This is a laving-place cool, and a drink.' 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 All of this; so let them taste it, boiling water and pus, 57 And other (punishment) of the same kind-- of various sorts. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
