And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (We answered his prayer, healed his sickness, and told him), "Run on your feet. This is cool water (for you) to wash and drink". 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Ya'qub (Jacob), (all) owners of strength (in worshipping Us) and (also) of religious understanding. 45 We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter). 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 They will enter gardens of Eden with their gates open for them. 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 This is the promise being given to you, for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 all this will be theirs; let them taste it -- a scalding, dark, foul fluid, 57 and, coupled with it, further [suffering] of a similar nature. 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 They will say nay! it is ye, for whom there is no welcome: it is ye who have brought it upon us. Evil shall be the resting-place. 60 They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire." 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 Took we them so unjustly for a butt of mockery, or are they deluding our eyes? 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
