Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
