And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much. 30 And you cannot escape in the earth; and you have neither a friend nor any supporter against Allah. 31 And among His Signs are the ships, in the sea, like mountains. 32 and if He wills, He stills the wind, and they remain motionless on its back. Surely in that are signs for every man enduring, thankful. 33 or else He may cause them to perish because of what they have wrought; and [withal,] He pardons much. 34 But let those know, who dispute about Our Signs, that there is for them no way of escape. 35 So whatever thing you have been given - it is but [for] enjoyment of the worldly life. But what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who have believed and upon their Lord rely 36 And those who avoid the heinous sins and indecencies and when they are angry forgive, 37 And those who answer the call of their Lord and establish worship, and whose affairs are a matter of counsel, and who spend of what We have bestowed on them, 38 And those who, when great wrong afflicts them, defend themselves. 39 Let harm be requited by an equal harm. But whoever pardons and amends will find his reward with God. He does not love the wrongdoers. 40 But indeed if any do help and defend themselves after a wrong (done) to them, against such there is no cause of blame. 41 The way is only open against those who do wrong to the people, and are insolent in the earth wrongfully; there awaits them a painful chastisement. 42 And whoever is patient and forgiving, these most surely are actions due to courage. 43
