Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Indeed, the tree of zaqqum 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Dressed in brocade and shot silk, facing one another. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
