Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ha'. Mim. 1 This Book is revealed from God, the Majestic and All-wise. 2 There are signs in the heavens and the earth for those who believe: 3 And in your creation, and all the creatures He scatters in the earth – in them are signs for the people who are certain. 4 And (in) the variation of the night and the day, and (in) what Allah sends down of sustenance from the cloud, then gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and (in) the changing of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand. 5 These are revelations of God which we recite to you correctly: In what other lore but God and His manifestations would they then believe? 6 Woe unto every liar, sinner! 7 Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. 8 And when he comes to know of any of Our communications, he takes it for a jest; these it is that shall have abasing chastisement. 9 Before them is Hell; naught will avail them of that which they earned, nor those whom they took for patrons beside Allah. Theirs shall be a torment mighty. 10 This is guidance; and those who disbelieve in the signs of their Lord, there awaits them a painful chastisement of wrath. 11
