And Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and on the day when the hour shall come to pass, on that day shall they perish who say false things. 27 You will see every people on their knees, every people shall be summoned to its Record [and a voice will say], "Today you will be requited for your deeds. 28 This is Our Book, that speaks against you the truth; We have been registering all that you were doing.' 29 So, those who believed and did good things will be admitted to His favour by their Lord. This will be a clear triumph. 30 As for the infidels, (it will be said): "Were not My messages read out to you? But you behaved with self-conceit, and became a sinful people. 31 And when it was said: "Verily! Allah's Promise is the truth, and there is no doubt about the coming of the Hour," you said; "We know not what is the Hour, we do not think it but as a conjecture, and we have no firm convincing belief (therein)." 32 And [on that Day,] the evil of their doings will become obvious to them, and they will be overwhelmed by the very thing which they were wont to deride. 33 It will be said to them, "This Day We shall forget you, as you yourselves forgot that you would meet this Day. Your abode shall be the Fire, and you shall have no helpers. 34 You reached this end because you made Allah's Signs an object of jest and the life of the world deluded you.” So they shall not be taken out of the Fire nor shall they be asked to make amends (and thus please their Lord). 35 Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the Worlds. 36 His is the Pride in the heavens and earth. He is the Almighty, the Wise. 37
