Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 But nay - they deem it strange that a warner should have come unto them from their own midst; and so these deniers of the truth are saying, "A strange thing is this! 2 “When we are dead and have turned to dust, will we be raised again? That return is impossible!” 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
