And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready (to note it). 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: this is that which thou hast been shunning. 19 And the trumpet shall be blown; that is the day of the threatening. 20 And every soul cometh, along with it a driver and a witness. 21 'Thou wast heedless of this; therefore We have now removed from thee thy covering, and so thy sight today is piercing.' 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 [Whereupon God will command:] "Cast, cast into hell every [such] stubborn enemy of the truth, 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 He will say, “Do not dispute before Me – I had already warned you of the punishment.” 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
