And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 When both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29
