Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 which then smoothly speed along, 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 Verily that wherewith ye are threatened is surely true. 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 CONSIDER the firmament full of starry paths! 7 Verily, [O men,] you are deeply at variance as to what to believe: 8 From which only he turns who is turned away. 9 Woe to the liars 10 Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter), 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure, 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
