Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the winds which carry dust particles, 1 and those that carry the burden [of heavy clouds,] 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 And lo! the judgment will indeed befall. 6 By the heaven with its numerous forms: 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Let whoever wishes, turn away from Our Quran. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 [It will be] a Day when they will be sorely tried by the fire, 13 And it will be said to them, “Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for.” 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 taking whatsoever their Lord has given them; they were good-doers before that. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 For those with sure belief there are signs in the earth, 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in the heaven lies your sustenance, and the promise you are given. 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23
