Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 which then smoothly speed along, 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 And the judgment must most surely come about. 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Destroyed are the falsifiers 10 Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 11 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment? 12 [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water-springs. 15 taking whatsoever their Lord has given them; they were good-doers before that. 16 Little of the night would they slumber, 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 and [would assign] in all that they possessed a due share unto such as might ask [for help] and such as might suffer privation. 19 On the earth, and in yourselves, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23
