Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 and those that bear the burden [of the rain], 2 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; 3 by the angels which distribute the affairs, 4 Verily, that which you are promised is true indeed, 5 And indeed, the recompense is to occur. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 They but destroy themselves, they who are given to guessing at what they cannot ascertain 10 Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. 11 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment? 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire! 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 The pious ones will live amidst gardens and springs, 15 Taking what their Lord gives them; surely they were before that, the doers of good. 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 And in their property was a portion due to him who begs and to him who is denied (good). 19 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, 20 And also in your own selves. Behold ye not? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other. 23

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
