We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
