We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
