Therefore remind! by thy Lord's blessing thou art not a soothsayer neither possessed. 29 Or do they say, 'He is a poet for whom we await Fate's uncertainty'? 30 Say: Wait, for surely I too with you am of those who wait. 31 Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people? 32 Or do they say, "He has made it up"? Rather, they do not believe. 33 Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true. 34 Have they been created from nothing or are they themselves their own creators? 35 Have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no strong faith. 36 Or, are the treasures of your Lord in their keeping? Or, are they the controllers? 37 Or do they have any stairs, climbing upon which they eavesdrop? So their eavesdropper should bring some clear proof! 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask a wage from them (for your preaching of Islamic Monotheism) so that they are burdened with a load of debt? 40 Do they have knowledge of the unseen, thus, are able to predict (the future)? 41 Do they want to hatch some plot? Those who deny the truth will be the victims of the plot. 42 Do they have any god other than Allah? Exalted be Allah above whatever they associate (with Him in His Divinity). 43 AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say: "[It is but] a mass of clouds!" 44 Leave them then till they meet that day of theirs wherein they shall be made to swoon (with terror): 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 And indeed for the unjust is another punishment before this, but most of them do not know. (Punishment in the grave is proven by this verse.) 47 And be patient upon your Lord’s command, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), for you are indeed in Our sight; and proclaim the Purity of your Lord while praising Him, whenever you stand. 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49
