Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: "[He is but] a poet - let us wait what time will do unto him"? 30 Say: Wait, for surely I too with you am of those who wait. 31 Enjoin them their understandings to this? or are they a people conumacious? 32 Or do they say, "He has invented it himself"? Indeed, they are not willing to believe. 33 Let them produce a discourse like it if they are true in their claim. 34 Have they not been created from some source, or are they themselves the creators? 35 Or have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact they are certain of nothing. 36 [How could they?] Are thy Sustainer's treasures with them? Or are they in charge [of destiny]? 37 Or do they have any stairs, climbing upon which they eavesdrop? So their eavesdropper should bring some clear proof! 38 Do the daughters belong to Him and the sons to you? 39 Or is it that thou dost ask for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 40 Or possess they the Unseen so that they can write (it) down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or have they an ilah (a god) other than Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partners (to Him) 43 And if they should see a portion of the heaven coming down, they would say: Piled up clouds. 44 So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible - 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 Surely there are other torments besides this for those who are wicked, though most of them do not know. 47 So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes, and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. 48 And glorify Him in the night and when the stars begin to wane. 49
True are the words of God the Almighty.
