To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
